Ordering from Bella Bonsai Nursery

At Bella Bonsai Nursery, our goal is simple:
To make purchasing a bonsai tree a personalized, stress-free, and satisfying experience — whether you are ordering your first bonsai tree or adding a special bonsai to a growing collection.

Because we offer two types of bonsai — Pre-Bonsai Trees and Specimen Trees — the ordering process is slightly different for each. Please review the appropriate section below.

Ordering Pre-Bonsai Trees

Pre-Bonsai trees are healthy, well-developed nursery stock offered within a specific size, species, and price range. The photos shown in these listings represent the quality and type of trees available in that category.

Step 1: Place Your Order

Choose the pre-bonsai tree category you’d like and complete your purchase online.

Step 2: We Select & Photograph Your Pre-Bonsai Trees just for You

After your order is received, I will personally select two trees from our nursery stock that fit the listing description and price range.
You will receive two clear photographs by text message so you can review the exact trees available.

Step 3: You Choose Your Pre-Bonsai Tree

You select the bonsai you prefer.

If neither one feels right to you, you may:

  • Request another pair to review, or

  • Cancel the order for a full refund

Our goal is that you feel confident and excited about the bonsai you receive.

Step 4: Shipping

Once you’ve made your selection, your tree will be carefully prepared and shipped via UPS on Monday or Tuesday.

We ship early in the week so your bonsai does not sit in a box over the weekend. Tracking information will be provided when your tree ships.

Ordering Specimen Bonsai Trees

Specimen bonsai trees are individually styled bonsai identified by a unique stock code. They are one-of-a-kind and the exact tree is shown in the listing photographs — what you see is what you receive.

Step 1: Select Your Bonsai Tree

Review the photographs carefully and complete your purchase online.

If you would like an additional photograph or have a specific question about the tree before ordering, please email me. I am happy to provide more information.

Step 2: Pre-Shipping Inspection

Before shipping, we carefully inspect your specimen bonsai to ensure it is healthy, stable, and ready for travel.

If we discover any concern that would affect the quality or health of the tree, we will contact you immediately and offer:

  • A suitable replacement (if available), or

  • Cancellation with a full refund

Step 3: Shipping

Specimen bonsai trees are shipped via UPS on Monday or Tuesday to avoid weekend delays. You will receive tracking information once your bonsai shipment is on its way.

Cold Weather & Seasonal Shipping

During periods of extreme cold or severe weather, we may delay shipment briefly to protect your bonsai. If this occurs, we will communicate clearly and work with you to determine the safest shipping window.

The health of your bonsai tree always comes first.
