I live in north Texas and have lots of tropical bonsai, but wanted to start branching out into other species. The owner was very helpful and texted me some pics of maples and azaleas he had. I bought a trident maple and a satsuki azalea and they arrived healthy and looked even better than the pics! For the price, Bella Bonsai is one of the best online bonsai nurseries I've found, will definitely order more next spring!
Larry was very hospitable and informative. I was a bit concerned at first as this nursery is located at a residence, however, Larry was kind enough to show me around the grounds, answer any questions about his work, and lend advice concerning the art of Bonsai. After, I was allowed to browse through the garden alone, a crucial step I believe in finding the right tree(s). It was a very comfortable experience, I highly recommend Bella Bonsai and will be a return customer. I will try to include a photo of the outstanding Kingsville Boxwood I purchased at a great price.
The owner took us around and answered our questions. They had a huge supply of pre bonsai tree stock and several specimen bonsai trees, they even had one unique tree species grown from two cypresses. I left with two different varieties of "serrissa foteda" and am very pleased with my choices.
This place is really awesome. I have never seen such a large bonsai nursery so close to us. Lots of varieties of bonsai trees and the caretaker, Larry Morton is very knowledgeable. He really knows his stuff when it comes to growing good quality trees.

Larry is very friendly and a true bonsai expert, and the kids who help him are also impressively skilled with bonsai (hats off to them!).
Larry even reduced the root ball size for me so I could take the bonsai on my flight easily, which was a huge help! While not everything is priced, Larry is more than happy to give you the details if you ask. The prices are fair, or I would pay even much more for such high qualities.
